**J.C. Academy** is a leading Montreal-based tutorial center located in LaSalle and we are seeking to expand our dynamic team For over 15 years, our tutorial center has been working to help thousands of students on a yearly basis with their academics. J.C. Academy prides itself in offering customized one-on-one tutorials to elementary, high school and CEGEP students, while providing an enjoyable and motivating environment for all our students and staff.

**We are currently seeking to fill the following positions**:
1. High school Math tutor for the English sector*

2. High school Math tutor for the French sector*

3. Secondary 5 Chemistry and Physics Tutor

4. Calculus tutor
- *including advanced grade 10 & 11 (Secondary 4 & 5) Math_

**Job Tasks include, but are not limited to**:

- Working one-on-one with students in assisting them with their weekly courses
- Homework assistance
- Preparing lesson plans, outlining homework plans & preparing students for upcoming tests
- When required, preparing progress reports & ensuring the students attain their academic goals

**Requirements**:

- Higher education levels such as CEGEP or University, either completed or in progress are an asset
- Must be fully bilingual (French & English) and strong in the language of instruction
- An excellent communicator
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience, an asset
- Detail-oriented and organized

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-20 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)
