**Job description for Industrial Postdoctoral Fellow positions**:
1. Design and synthesis of novel drug-like molecules as part of a medicinal chemistry R&D endeveaurs.

2. Data collection, analysis and interpretation of data sets. Proposal and follow-up experiments based on data trends.

3. Troubleshoot and optimize reaction sequences and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings.

4. Prepare summary documents and presentations to chemistry and project teams and patent filings.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- **Industrial Postdoctoral Research Fellow
- **PhD degree in Organic Synthesis,

Bioorganic or Medicinal Chemistry, with 0-2 years of Post Doctoral/Industrial experience.
- **Research Scientist
- **Ph.D. degree in Organic Synthesis, Bioorganic or

Medicinal Chemistry, with 2-4 years of relevant experience in a drug discovery organization.

Applicant recently graduated from a Canadian University or those ones holding

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry

2. Demonstrated experience in “isolation & purification of Pharmaceutical intermediates & products” utilizing “Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) or Dialysis instruments” is a great asset.

3. Demonstrated laboratory proficiency.

4. Experience with the operation of standard laboratory instrumentation (e.g.,

NMR, MS, automated chromatography), and data analysis.

5. Able to work within a team structure and effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels.

6. Proven research track record as evidenced by a strong publication and/or patent record.

7. Entrepreneurial spirit, and constantly seeking creative solutions to challenging problems. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V6S 2L9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:
