As we continue to grow, we are seeking a **Junior Data Analyst**, Business Intelligence to join our team. This role is based at either **Toronto North York** Office or **Toronto** Head Office (on-site position).

**Job Overview**:
Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence, Junior Data Analyst, Business Intelligence will be a key player on the BI team, contributing to the overall success of 123Dentist Operations and Finance. This opportunity will be a perfect fit for an individual with an analytical mindset, a willingness to explore metrics in creative ways, and a keen interest in delivering information in an organized and meaningful way.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Expand Azure Data Factory and Power BI solution to onboard the 123Dentist practices and new acquisitions.
- Work with Team Lead to plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Perform a variety of quality control functions that support data quality in reconciliation processes, test for compliance with department standards, and identify potential risks.
- Create and maintain data mapping files.
- Assist in the maintenance of ETL process and daily data refreshing in Azure Data Factory, SQL database, and Power BI.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Works closely with Business users to troubleshoot data issues in data warehouse and create ad hoc reports.

**Education, Credentials, Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computing and Financial Management, Statistics and Actuarial Science, or similar formal education
- 1-3 years experience in ETL (Extract, transform, load), Power BI, or Data Warehouse.
- Experience with the Microsoft Azure platform would be an asset.

**Required Skills & Abilities**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to independently analyze extensive data, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies and recommend a course of corrective action.
- Experience with ETL, ETL tools, SQL Query, and stored procedures.
- Experience with a major visualization platform: Power BI, Tableau, Excel pivot table, etc.
- Experience with building data solutions on Azure or any other Cloud provider.
- Experience working on teams using agile development techniques.
- Positive attitude and ability to effectively work with team members in achieving common objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with various levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
