Low Voltage Technician

**Job Overview**
The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems in both residential and commercial settings.
**Duties**:
- Install and maintain low voltage systems including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), CCTV cameras, and computer networking setups.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation of systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections to detect issues within low voltage systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of installed systems.
- Document all work performed, including system configurations and maintenance records.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in low voltage installations or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various electrical components.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical schematics.
- Familiarity with computer networking principles and practices.
- Experience with CCTV systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
