**Job Title**: Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Support individuals with mobility issues and help them move around safely
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living space

**Requirements**:

- PSW certification from a recognized educational institution.
- Proven experience in homemaking and personal support activities, including caring for seniors and the elderly.
- Possess a compassionate and flexible nature with a client-centered approach to caregiving.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize safety issues and follow safe work practices.
- Must be able to meet the physical demand requirements of the role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Requires good judgment, problem-solving and assessment abilities.
- Ability to travel between assignments by public transportation or by car.
- Weekend availability is a must.
- Knowledge of PCC or POC is a definite asset.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED WITH THE COVID-19VACCINE.

Pay: $18.96-$23.61 per hour
