Construction Site Superintendent

**Track One Project Management Inc.** provides Construction Management and Project Management services to owners of Hospitality and Commercial Real Estate Projects. Currently, we are working on multiple new build, multi-storey hotels and other commercial projects. The Site Supers shall be responsible for the successful implementation of the project plan on their allocated projects, and to provide overall site leadership and oversight of assigned new build and renovation projects.

**1. Has more than 5 years of Experience working as a Site Superintendant/Supervisor with either General Contractors or Construction Managers on New Build Construction.**

**2. Has more than 10 years of overall construction experience**

**3. Has experience on mid rise concrete and precast structures**

**4. Gold Seal Certification by CCA would be highly desirable**

Responsibilities/ expectations for this position include:

- Managing ground up construction projects independently on site
- Supervise and direct construction projects including the key responsibility of ensuring that all workers and trade contractors on site follow drawings and specifications correctly and adhere to strict personal and construction safety regulations
- Planning and scheduling of daily, weekly and monthly activities and monitoring progress against schedule on a continuous basis
- Interpretation of drawings and specifications, verification of changes between sets issued at various times and ensuring the latest set of drawings, site instructions and specifications are maintained at site
- Be completely aware of all the latest Ministry of Health and Ministry of Labor requirements, as related to construction sites and health and safety of all workers and visitors on site.
- Should have all necessary trainings and safety certifications including Working at Heights, Fall Arrest, Propane Handling, WHMIS, H&S Awareness 5-Step, Covid-19 preparedness etc.
- Assist in the setting up of new projects including creating logs, spreadsheets, safety documentation, issuing documents and arranging for construction material to site
- Be the undisputed leader in the allocated construction site. Ensure to be the first person on site and the last person to leave it, always maintaining the safety and security of all construction areas, equipment and tools
- Construction quality control and monitoring
- Preparation of construction schedules and monitoring progress on a regular basis
- Dealing with trades and suppliers to ensure all material and works are delivered/completed on time
- Chair site meetings and originate minutes of meetings
- Assist in preparation of Change Orders including obtaining all necessary backups and calculations related to Changes on site
- Prepare and issue daily reports to and be in constant communication with the manager and president
- Maintain all project logs and directories
- Track and coordinate approvals of shop drawings and material submittals
- Assist in the creation of all close out reports, warranty binders and as-built drawings
