Seeking a kitchen staff/ baker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of baked goods/food/bread, ensuring their quality and presentation. Your attention to detail and knowledge of food safety regulations will be essential in delivering delicious treats/food to our customers.
Certifications required: Food Safety/Handlers Certification
**MUST BE AVAILABLE MOST SATURDAY MORNINGS 7-2pm**
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, plus salads etc.
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity
- Package finished products for display or sale
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
**Skills**:To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling techniques
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bakery setting
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including mixing, kneading, and shaping dough
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods
- Creativity in cake decorating and pastry presentation
- Strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
