**Position Summary**

Parker Hannifin Canada is offering an exciting opportunity for an **IT Intern** at our Milton, Ontario head office. This role will focus on impactful projects that support our operations across Parker Canada. You will engage in a variety of assignments, focusing on both end-user/help desk support and systems development. Your role will involve providing system analysis and programming, allowing you to develop a strong understanding of the business processes that drive our operations.

The start date for this role will be **May 2025**, for a duration of **12 months**.

**Responsibilities**
- End-User Support: Provide high-quality help desk support to end-users, addressing technical issues and ensuring a seamless user experience.

- Data Visualization: Utilize tools like Power BI and Power Automate to create insightful reports and automate processes, enhancing data accessibility and decision-making.
- Business Insight: Gain valuable insights into the business side of IT processes, contributing to projects that align technology with organizational goals.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a productive and innovative work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptable and open to new challenges, viewing them as opportunities for growth and learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently with mínimal supervision.
