**What are your contributions to the team?**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact business challenges that can be addressed through AI and machine learning.
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models tailored to specific operational use cases.
- Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for ML pipelines.
- Deploy and integrate new and existing models into enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA.
- Monitor, test, and refine models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and measurable business value.
- Maintain detailed documentation, standards, and best practices for AI/ML solutions.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, incorporate feedback, and ensure solutions align with strategic goals.
- Stay current on advancements in ML/AI and proactively introduce relevant innovations to the organization.

**How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience**:

- 5+ years of direct experience in analytics, data science, or software development with a focus on AI/ML.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing ML models, including time series forecasting, predictive analytics, image recognition, and NLP.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms—Microsoft Azure preferred—particularly tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Machine Learning.
- Advanced programming skills in Python and PySpark; experience with modular software design and software architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and experience with packaging and deploying software in production environments.
- Knowledge of scripting in Linux or PowerShell.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and decision-making initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders.
