We are a local senior care company serving Ottawa for the past 14 years. We hire older adults that have the life experience needed to identify with the unique needs of aging individuals.

Our caregivers help improve our senior clients' quality of life and help them maintain their independence at home safely for as long as possible, while also offering their loved ones peace of mind.

We are looking for individuals who are interested and able to assist our senior clients throughout the night. In some circumstances the overnight caregiver provides assistance as needed and is otherwise permitted to sleep through the night, while in others the caregiver must ensure that he/she is able to stay awake and alert (usually for 8+ hours between 12am and 8am) and ready to provide assistance at a moment's notice.

Some overnight care opportunities require a trained PSW (or equivalent) if any personal care is required (i.e. toileting, bathing, dressing/changing, transferring from bed to walker and/or wheelchair).

**Requirements**:

- Passionate about meeting the needs of seniors to ensure their safety and well-being
- Previous senior caregiving / elder care experience either employed, volunteer, or within family/social network
- Prior experience providing care services overnight is an asset
- Ability to remain awake and alert for 8+ hours
- Flexible schedule that can accomodate 3 or more overnight shifts per week
- Compassionate, reliable, punctual, strong ability to stick with commitments
- Able to provide at least 2 professional references
- Vulnerable Sector Check less than one year old (or otherwise willing to obtain)
- Asset: Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent; valid driver's license and own vehice; bilingul (English & French)
