Manager, Supply Chain

The opportunity

We are seeking a versatile Supply Chain professional to join our growing Montreal Management Consulting practice, with the ability to work on a variety of supply chain advisory matters, including but not limited to technology.

**What you will do**

Depending on the circumstances for which our services are called upon, professionals in this role will be responsible for:

- Managing transportation, logistics & distribution assessments and transformation projects
- Evaluating client's transportation and warehousing activities and identifying gaps to leading practices
- Using advanced analytics to develop targeted project plans for cost reduction, service levels improvement, and benefits realization.
- Supporting a client with business requirements identification, software configuration, technology implementation related to transportation, logistics & distribution
- Identifying business development opportunities and leading development of proposals to address clients' objectives
- Leading a team of professionals in the profitable realization of the above.

**What you bring to the role**

Bachelor of Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or Computer Science with major in information technology or equivalent undergraduate degree, with related work experience.

7+ years experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Demand and/or supply planning, where a portion includes Technology Enablement (System Integration/Implementation).

Demonstrates expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Distribution Network Design & Optimization
- Transportation & Vehicle Route Optimization
- Last Mile Delivery Optimization
- Logistics & Distribution target operating models & roadmaps
- Warehouse Design & Implementation
- Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Project Management, Business Process Design, requirements & functional specifications, Testing for modules like Planning & Optimization, Execution, Freight Settlement

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)-
- Project Management, Business Process Design, requirements & functional specifications, Testing for modules like Warehouse Management, Inventory Optimization, Slotting Optimization
- Other areas which will be considered strong assets
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Blu Jay, Llamasoft, Logility, etc. will be considered as strong asset as well as implementation experience of such solutions
- Experience in performance improvement, process re-engineering, cost reduction, supply chain improvement and other transformation initiatives considered an asset.
- Experience as an internal or external business advisor will be considered a strong asset.
