Café Barista

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coffee Preparation**:
Brew and serve specialty coffees, including espresso drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, etc.), pour-over, and cold brew.
Maintain consistency and quality in every cup.
Ensure cleanliness and proper care of espresso machines and brewing equipment.
- **Smoothie & Juice Bar**:
Prepare fresh smoothies and shakes to order, following specific recipes and customer preferences.
Use high-quality ingredients, ensuring each drink is fresh, healthy, and visually appealing.
Stay up to date on new smoothie trends, ingredients, and dietary preferences (e.g., vegan, keto, gluten-free).
- **Customer Service**:
Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to customers.
Engage with customers, taking orders, making recommendations, and creating a positive café experience.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care.
- **Barista & Smoothie Bar Maintenance**:
Keep the café and smoothie bar area clean and organized, including cleaning countertops, equipment, and workstations.
Monitor inventory levels for coffee beans, smoothie ingredients, and other supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista, smoothie specialist, or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Knowledge of how to use a blender
- Passion for healthy ingredients and creating nutritious, delicious smoothies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, customer-focused attitude and a team player mentality.
- Ability to work flexible hours

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
