Store Manager

Factory Direct - Niagara Falls, ON

Fantastic opportunity for a strong, energetic individual who is looking for a long-term permanent position.

We are currently looking for an Store Manager for our Niagara Falls location at 7190 Morrison Street, in Canadian Tire and Dollarama plaza.

As a member of our team your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
Driving sales and profitability
Assisting with recruitment, training and staff development
Building customer loyalty
Maintaining inventory control and cash handling standards
Enforcing all policies and procedures
Maintaining store merchandising standards
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening

**Salary**: To be Negotiated, for 40 - 44 Hours per week, Bonus, Commission

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

**Education**:
Completion of high school,
Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Some university

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Video and audio equipment store, Electronic products store, Computer products store

Business Equipment and Computer Applications:
Point of sale system
- Microsoft Outlook
Accounting software
Word processing software
Spreadsheet software
Database software
Inventory control software
General office equipment
Computerized bookkeeping systems
Internet competency
Specific Skills:
Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations
Manage staff and assign duties
Determine merchandise and services to be sold
Implement price and credits policies
Perform cash deposits
Balance daily transactions
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
Determine staffing requirements
Recruit and train staff
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
Customer service oriented
Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
