**Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact**
The Manager works with the marketing team on external reputational management, public relations, writing, budgeting, implementing best practices, project management, and change management.
This role provides mentorship, oversight and guidance to staff to help develop and promote an engaged and productive workforce.
In this role, you would plan, create, write, and develop proactive communication including an annual tactical media calendar that aligns with the strategy and business goals.
You would oversee public relations be being the key media contact.
This role would plan and execute events in a cross-departmental events calendar to maximize exposure of our brand.
You would create the department budget and monitor it regularly.
This role would maintain effective client relationships through regular contact to ensure we are performing to expectations.
**Key Experiences You Bring To This Role**
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role in Corporate Communications, sponsorships, and events
- Work in health care, benefits, or insurance
- University degree in business communication or other related field
