**Job description**
We are looking for reliable, energetic, and engaging Soccer Coaches to work part-time every weekend on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings. If you are passionate about working with children, being active and playing soccer, this is the ideal job for you
Little Kickers provides children 18 months to 8 years of age a positive introduction to sport via soccer. Our soccer skills and games are taught in a fun and non-competitive environment. Coaches employ their imagination and creativity to deliver the lessons in an engaging and playful atmosphere. Actors, soccer players, teachers or those enrolled in the ECE program would be the perfect fit for Little Kickers. All training is provided.
Compensation for an Assistant Coach starts at $17.25 per hour before training is complete and Lead Coach role begins at $18.00 per hour before training is complete.
**Responsibilities**
- Instruct preschool-aged children in various sports activities, ensuring a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Implement lesson plans that promote physical fitness and teamwork.
- Foster communication and social skills through group activities and games.
- Monitor children's progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during activities, particularly in Soccer
- Build positive relationships with children and their parents to encourage ongoing participation
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with and engaging young children
- Must be able to work Saturday and/or Sunday mornings
- Reliable and able to commit to working on a **weekly basis**:
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality and who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers
- Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents
- High energy individual who is able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 4+ hours
- Must be able to hold and bring equipment to every shift
