The Skilled Labourer position is a new role for our team, but one that will add limitless value to our current service delivery. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and fellow employees. Ideally you have prior experience in interior excavations and concrete finishing and have proven communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Although experience in the below can be an asset, we will train to make sure professional quality is delivered.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Complete interior excavations using equipment like jackhammers and concrete saws to expose plumbing under the floor, replacing the plumbing and then refilling the hole and refinishing the concrete. Restoring the customer’s home to better than when we arrived is the target in cleanliness once the job is complete.
- Provide assistance to our field personnel using our trailer jetter (HydroScrubber) as available
- Provide assistance to our Underground Division in general labour duties including but not limited to spotting and replacing piping in the hole
- Perform minor maintenance to all equipment used in the role of Skilled Labourer
- Provide oversight and assistance in maintaining the shop and warehouse, which could include delivery of large equipment or materials to a job site as needed
- Provide assistance where additional labour is required for our regular plumbing and drain cleaning service division
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

**Job Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License, with the ability to pull trailers and drive Backhoe and/or Dump Truck to and from job site
- Excavation experience an asset
- Mini Excavator or Skid-Steer use, Sewer and Water contractor experience, etc.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools
- Attention to detail a must
- Professional appearance and personality
- We work when our customers need us - evening and weekend shifts may be necessary and without apology
