Part-time Math Instructor

**Overview**
We’re looking for a passionate Math Instructor to join our North Vancouver team. You should have a strong math background and enjoy working with students. In this role, you’ll help students build confidence and improve their math skills in a fun, supportive environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Teach students using the Mathnasium Method.
- Provide individualized instruction in small group settings.
- Track and assess student progress.
- Use digital tools and learning materials effectively.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and organized workspace.
- Teach math from basic arithmetic to higher-level topics.
- Give feedback and encouragement to help students succeed.
- Record attendance and progress accurately.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Experience working with children; patient and adaptable.
- Strong understanding of math concepts across grade levels.
- Confident teaching algebra, geometry, calculus, and more.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and digital teaching tools.
- Knowledge of special education or computer science is a plus.
- Typical hours: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Weekdays

We offer personalized instruction, proprietary worksheets, and games to build Number Sense and provide a fun and supportive environment in which children can learn and practice math.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
