**SHIPPER/RECEIVER**

Doortech Mfg. & Distribution Ltd. is a provider of hollow metal and wood doors, aluminum frames and windows, curtain walls and automated entrance systems for the commercial industry. At Doortech we take pride in putting our customers first by providing superior, professional, friendly service.

We are currently looking for a motivated and physically fit individual to join our Shipping & Receiving Department as a Shipper/Receiver.

JOB OVERVIEW
- Prioritize shipments and orders. Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Pick-ups and drop-offs using company vehicle
- Operate forklift, pallet jack or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
- Receive hollow metal shipments as these are delivered and store goods in the appropriate location.
- Wrapping of completed aluminum orders and completed paint orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of Shipping/Receiving area - sweeping, dusting, emptying of garbage cans, general cleanup of boxes, tape guns and supplies.
- Maintain a positive attitude, have a friendly personality, and work well with others.
- Willingness to ask questions when unsure of a task.
- Sidewalk snow clearing.
- All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must demonstrate good observational skills and attention to fine details.
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills when dealing with customers in person and on the phone.
- Have basic computer knowledge.
- Must be able to work with a team and independently.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

Starting wage will be based on the successful applicant’s skills and experience. Participation in the company’s cost-shared employee benefits plan after 3 months.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
