**Title**: Electric Vehicle Independent Contractor

**Territory**: Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph Region, ON

**Status**: Independent Contractor

**PURPOSE**: The Independent Contractor is tasked with picking up small packages from our Mississauga Location and delivering throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph region, efficiently and on-time. FleetOptics is looking for Independent Contractors with Electric Vehicles ONLY. The Independent Contractor is; free to work with any other transportation companies, grow and build your business, flexible with availability, and is physically capable of carrying out approximately 200 deliveries per day. Ensuring and exhibiting safe driving practices at all times, the Independent Contractor is comfortable with navigating a handheld smartphone.

**Contractor Service level expectations**:

- Carries out deliveries based on assigned route
- Loading and unloading parcels into own vehicle
- Complete daily pre-and post-trip vehicle inspection
- Maintenance of vehicle and fuel expenditure

**Required**:

- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Comfortable working 10-12 hours per day
- Time management and organizational skills
- Able to effectively navigate in highly congested traffic areas
- Competent using a smartphone device
- Flexible with scheduling; weekend routes available

**In Addition**:

- Must possess a valid G Class License
- Clean criminal background
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a smartphone
- Previous courier experience is an asset
