**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide legal counsel to executives, senior management, and ownership on legal rights under emerging and established laws.
- Formulate legal strategies and processes to facilitate the management of relationships with customers, vendors, and other partners, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to legal requirements.
- Draft, review, and offer legal guidance on various contractual agreements, such as customer agreements, vendor agreements, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, contractor agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Collaborate with the acquisition team and external counsel to conduct due diligence, participate in negotiations, draft documents, and fulfill other legal responsibilities required for acquisitions as needed.
- Engage in defining, developing, and drafting corporate policies, procedures, and programs to bolster support for diverse business operations.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to identify and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Perform legal research and assess the company's litigation strategy regarding legal actions.
- Oversee and administer insurance for operating entities and properties.
- Liaise with external counsel concerning various legal matters.
- Collaborate with external counsel, as appropriate, to provide advice on matters related to labor relations and employment law.
- In collaboration with external counsel, represent the company at mediations, arbitrations, and before other administrative boards or tribunals.
- Participate in specific projects and confidential initiatives as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must posses a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD)
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience as a practicing in-house corporate lawyer
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating a high volume of contracts and legal agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a multi-business, complex organization is a considerable asset
