Landon Mechanical is currently seeking **Licensed Sheet Metal Foremen, Journeymen** **& Apprentices** for commercial installations in Southwestern Ontario. As a full-service mechanical contractor and a member of Merit Ontario, we proudly serve commercial and industrial customers across Canada. Landon Mechanical takes pride in educating future industry professionals through apprenticeship programs; sculpting new leaders and helping them progress through the trade from Apprentice to Site Supervisor to Project Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- Read engineering and architectural drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed, and lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates
- Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, partition frames, air and heat ducts, material handling systems
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
- Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
- Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications.
**Requirements**:
308A license
- Active member of the Ontario College of Trades **OR** 2nd or 3rd year level apprentices preferred
- Self motivated leader with a strong work ethic; strong ability to lead and mentor apprentices
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Physically demanding work environment requiring a strong manual dexterity
- Up to date police clearance required
- Own transportation; Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record

- WHMIS, Working at Heights, Scissor Lift
- G2 license an asset
