**Production Supervisor**
**Job description**
We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor, to join our Food Manufacturing Facility in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this position the Production Supervisor will report to the company General Manager and be responsible manage and supervise employees to ensure security, safety, food specs, quality assurance of products, sanitation, HACCP and Canada Health regulations are followed. The individual must be a hands-on leader with exceptional organizational skills. Responsible for scheduling employees as well as meeting shipping deadlines.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures quality production standards are maintained for all accounts
- Maintains Company policies and procedures serve as a knowledgeable resource relative to those policies.
- Controls food cost and other controllable costs and Maintains accurate stock
- Manages Staff Schedule and hours to meet budget
- Works with management staff to improve performance of the production facility
- Responsible for safety, quality and compliance to customer specifications and regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all products are dated coded according to company procedures.
- Conducts inventory of manufacturing facility products and customer materials to ensure proper usage and minimization of waste.
- Responsible for maintaining daily temperature logs and other logs and reports as required.
- Works with maintenance staff to ensure preventive maintenance of machinery according to schedules, reports maintenance and repair issues in timely manner.
- Trains and monitors employees on proper work procedures to ensure maximum productivity with minimum labor and food costs
- Ensures Customer deadlines are met.
