COLD STORAGE ATTENDANT **LOCATION**: East Pubnico, NS At Comeau Sea Life, we produce top quality seafood and bait products for local and international customers. Comeau’s is searching for hard-working and reliable workers to seasonally join the Sea Life team. Located at our beautiful, oceanfront Sea Life plant found in East Pubnico, Nova Scotia. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: As a member of the Cold Storage team, you will support a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to: - Shipping and receiving of orders, coordinating product transportation between plants. - Picking, wrapping and/or stacking pallets with a forklift - Loading Pallets and/or tubs into tractor trailers with a forklift - Support plate freezer crew when needed. - Reading and recording date codes and maintaining proper and accurate paperwork - Responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of your work area - Other duties as assigned **EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**: - Experience in warehousing would be considered a strong asset - Forklift certification is considered an asset, but not required - Good verbal communication skills - Must be capable and comfortable working in a cold environment and wearing appropriate PPE - Reliable, punctual and ability to work to timelines - Positive, friendly and professional customer service skills - Maintenance skills and some carpentry skills and asset.
