Pomme Natural Market is 100% locally owned and operated a full-service, all natural market currently recruiting a part-time Customer Service Ambassador to work in the Front End department as a Cashier.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service by leaving a lasting positive impression on all customers that shop at Pomme
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner
- Process customer transactions accurately (cash, debit, credit, and gift card payments)
- Process customer returns and exchanges
- Receive, stock, rotate, and face product according to department procedure
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Adhere to company loss prevention standards
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including Exposure Control Notices if required to cleanup potentially hazardous waste (training provided)
- Liaise and communicate effectively with team members and other departments
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Serve as a role model for Pomme's vision and instills these values in team members
- Cover additional shifts as necessary in order to meet the operational needs of the store
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Have previous experience working in a customer service oriented environment and/or grocery store is an asset
- Cash handling experience is an asset
- Have the ability to stand, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Have an interest in all natural, organic, local and healthy ingredients and foods
- Have a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Have a commitment to recycling and eco conservation

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.75-$19.00 per hour
