**WE ARE GROWING**

Tri-Tech Pinnacle Group is currently seeking a Specification Writer to join our Vancouver team.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Conduct site visits to collect data and perform roof core cuts prior to writing the specification.
- Choose the appropriate roofing system for the project (i.e. EPDM, SBS, TPO, PVC, and BUR).
- Write the specification and create CAD drawings for all roof details.
- Prepare all documents for the project including contract documents, change orders, addendums and tender information.
- Coordinate the tendering process with clients and contractors and attend pre-tender meetings.
- Maintain specifications and drawings library.
- Conduct research to source new products and systems.
- Keep up to date with changes to the building codes.
- Perform roof condition assessments, including core cuts on various roofing systems to determine assembly composition, and provide information for reports.
- Perform site inspections on installation or replacement of various commercial roofing systems.
- Assist with infrared scanning and scan verifications for preparation of client reports.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must have 3-5 years of experience writing specifications.
- A Certified Construction Specifier or Registered Specification Writer designation preferred.
- Diploma/Degree in Building Construction, Engineering or Design.
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights while following safety protocols.
- Team player with excellent time management skills
- Reliable, good work ethic and great attitude
- Willing to travel on occasion to all western region provinces.
- Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record and reliable vehicle
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency with MS office

**Hours of Work**:

- Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Hybrid role - must be in the Vancouver area
- Some travel will require overnight stays outside of the usual work area.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
