715 Motor Haus Ltd. is looking for an energetic, organized, accounting professional to join our team as the Financial Controller, providing fiscal oversight for our dealership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting statements, financial position and budgetary updates;
- Creation and maintenance of an annual budget, business plan and financial forecasts;
- Managing the accounting operations including the review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting;
- Maintaining all records on company transactions, purchases, inventory, transfers and assets;
- Establishing and monitoring internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Preparing & processing government remittances and reporting;
- Ensuring payable invoices are processed to maximize discounts taken and paid within established parameters;
- Documenting monthly bank reconciliations and processing deposits;
- Preparing accurate balance sheets, income statements sheets, reconciliations and month end/ year-end adjustments to support the month end/year-end financial statements;
- Analyz information pertaining to accounting, financial and administration, advising of anomalies and suggesting solutions.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Diploma or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related specialty
- A minimum of 3 years financial experience
- An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
- Attention to Detail, and deadline-oriented
