**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Gas Fuser Helper reports to Gas Foreman to safely and accurately install, repair, test and perform tasks related to construction and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working 5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day.
- Assist in fusion and installation of gas pipe in underground subdivisions.
- Assist with four party underground utility installations.
- Spotting for vehicles and equipment.
- Site setup and cleanup.
- Operate equipment and tools, as needed.
- Other duties and labour tasks, as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Class 5 Driver’s License and Reliable vehicle.
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- Outdoor construction experience.
- Experience with fusing gas pipe.
- Willing to learn gas fusing techniques.
- Valid gas fusing ticket considered an asset.
- Four party underground utility or telecommunication experience is an asset.
