**About the Role**:
We are hiring **English & Literacy Tutors** to help elementary and middle school students improve their reading, writing, and spelling skills. Some students are excelling in reading but struggle with **spelling**, while others need **foundational reading support** to catch up with their peers.

**Responsibilities**:
✔ Tutor **one-on-one** in reading comprehension, spelling, and writing skills
✔ Create engaging and structured lessons based on the student’s needs
✔ Work with **Grade 1-7 students**
✔ Build students’ confidence and love for reading and writing
✔ Communicate progress with parents and recommend learning strategies

**Qualifications**:
✔ Experience in **literacy tutoring, reading intervention, or elementary education**
✔ Strong understanding of phonics, reading comprehension, and **spelling strategies**
✔ Patient, encouraging, and able to make learning **fun and interactive**

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed
