Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for experienced and dedicated Tactical Security Guard to join our exciting, hard working and growing team in Ottawa, Ontario.

**Job Duties**:

- Ensures property Loss Prevention, observe and report suspicious activity
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
- Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
- Enforcing the Trespass to Property Act.
- Looking out for instances such as threatening, fraudulent, and rude behaviors by the customers
- Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
- Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents

**Requirements**:

- A valid Ontario security license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security
- Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Can stay alert at all times
- Ability to respond well to emergency situations
- Must be able to pass a vulnerable sector check
- Bilingualism (English & French) would be an asset
- Must be fully vaccinated against covid-19 and provide acceptable proof of vaccination

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
