Our team is now expanding our staffing services to provide quality Travel healthcare services to Hospitals and Long Term Care facilities across Canada _
- We now have an exciting opportunity with a Retirement facility in Markham, ON Due to high volume our client is offering contracts that can be picked up in advance to cover leaves or absence and also day of assignments based on your availability. All departments will be included so all experience is welcome. _
- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: _
- Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) role assists nurses and other members of the team.
- Provides patient care related to patient cleanliness, safety and activities of daily living, as well as maintaining the operation, and safety of the patient care unit.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma required
- Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized community college required
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage workload.
- Familiar with computer and basic keyboarding skills.
- Follows direction and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent attendance record.
- The ability to work independently and in a team
