**About the role**

We're seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a strategic social media presence and creating content that builds brand awareness, fosters a thriving online community, and drives sales.

**Must-Have Qualities**:

- Passion in boating, automotive & in electric
- To be able to go on the boat & start talking about boating.
- Generally good in social media influence
- 3 important things:
a) Managing the social media

b) Boating community engagement

c) Influencer marketing: must reach out influencer & talk about our boating

**Responsibilities**:

- **Social Media Strategy & Content Creation**
- Develop and manage ACEL Power's social media content calendar across various platforms (Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok etc.).
- Craft compelling and engaging content (text, images, and videos) using AI or native tools
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly to maximize engagement (e.g., leveraging trending hashtags and formats).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing objectives and brand voice.
- Build an employee advocacy program to help team members understand how they can use their social channels to help build our brand.
- Collaborate with senior executives, including the CEO, to refine and manage their social presence
- **Community Management & Engagement**
- Actively manage ACEL Power's social media communities, responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive and engaging online community by initiating conversations, addressing inquiries, and encouraging social interaction (e.g., polls, contests, and Q&A sessions).
- Monitor brand sentiment online and address any concerns or negative feedback promptly to maintain a positive brand reputation.
- **Social Media Analytics & Reporting**
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, website traffic, etc.) to measure the success
- Generate reports that provide insights and utilize data analytics to refine social media strategies, optimize content
- **Building Strategic Partnerships **Identify and build relationships with relevant social media influencers in the boating and sustainability industries.
- Explore opportunities for strategic partnerships
- **Staying Ahead of the Curve**:

- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platforms, and best practices, particularly those relevant to the electric boating and sustainability sectors.
- Continuously learn and implement new social media strategies and tactics to maximize the impact of ACEL Power's social media efforts.
- Other duties as required

**What skills and experience do you bring to the table?**
- 5+ years of experience in social media, content development and community engagement
- Strong copywriting skills. You have a natural creative eye and can create social content that drives engagement.
- Passion for photography and assist with supporting all photo and video shoots
- Working knowledge of Canva, Hubspot, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a strong, collaborative team player, who approaches projects with enthusiasm and is open to out-of-the-box ideas
- Proven ability to independently prioritize job tasks and media needs
- Marine industry experience and technical background is an asset
- Knowledge of AI tools is a plus
