**Core Responsibilities**
- Source and procure carrier services to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of customer freight.
- Ensure that the system is updated with the most accurate information on our carrier base.
- Negotiate with carriers to maximize profitability of loads consigned to PGLINTL.
- Monitor service providers to ensure that company and customer service requirements are being met. **Develop and grow core/key carriers to provide additional capacity.**
- Identify service and cost improvement opportunities and synergies, such as dedicated operations and continuous movement.
- Act as a facilitator for carrier problem resolution in regard to claims, payments, or other business issues.

**Requirements**:

- Experience within a 3PL brokerage/transportation environment is an asset, but not required.
- Impressive negotiation skills, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Fluency in French and English, oral and written, is required (since we do business with clients based in Canada and the United States, knowledge of both languages is not only important but a major asset for us).

**Experience**:
**Minimum 2 years in Transport Brokerage or Freight Forwarding**

**Principales responsabilités**
- Rechercher et obtenir des services de transport afin d'assurer l'enlèvement et la livraison du fret des clients dans les délais impartis.
- S'assurer que le système est mis à jour avec les informations les plus précises sur notre base de transporteurs.
- Négocier avec les transporteurs pour maximiser la rentabilité des chargements confiés à PGLINTL.
- Contrôler les fournisseurs de services pour s'assurer que les exigences de l'entreprise et des clients en matière de service sont respectées. - Développer et faire croître les transporteurs principaux afin de fournir une capacité supplémentaire.
- Identifier les opportunités d'amélioration des services et des coûts ainsi que les synergies, telles que les opérations dédiées et le mouvement continu.

**Exigences**
- Une expérience dans un environnement de courtage/transport 3PL est un atout, mais n'est pas nécessaire.
- Excellentes aptitudes à la négociation, fortes capacités de résolution de problèmes et de prise de décision.
- Capacité à apprendre rapidement et à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois.
- Aptitude avérée à travailler en collaboration au sein d'une équipe, en favorisant un environnement de travail positif et productif.
- La maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit, est requise (étant donné que nous travaillons avec des clients basés au Canada et aux États-Unis, la connaissance des deux langues est non seulement importante mais constitue un atout majeur pour nous).
