G Class Delivery Truck Driver

**Terminal: London**
**Working days: Monday to Friday**
**Shift: 6:00AM to 4:00PM **_**(Overtime will be paid beyond 50 hours worked)**_
**No Holidays**
**No Weekends**
- **Overtime will be paid out for any traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns, weather conditions and or freight volume.**_

**This is a Floater P&D Driver position. The Driver will be covering ALL delivery routes.***

**What you will do**:

- _Drive a_ **3 ton Refrigerated truck **_to deliver freights to assigned stops within London and surrounding areas
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time (30+ deliveries daily and approximately 6 pick-ups)
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- _**Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pump/pallet truck (lift up to 50 to 80 lbs)**_
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we require of you**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Clean CVOR and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Courier or LTL experience is an asset
- _**Must have 1 year Commercial Truck delivery driving experience**_
- This shift will be Monday to Friday. 10 hour days with start times from 6AM to 4PM. Overtime will be paid.
- _**Capable of doing physical labour with a great degree of strength and stamina - lift up to 50 to 80 lbs**_
