CNC Machine Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate CNC and manual equipment including plasma cutting machines, bandsaws, pipe benders, and the Dragon machine according to job specifications and drawings.
- Conduct equipment setups, adjustments, and light programming to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Inspect finished components using measuring tools to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications; escalate discrepancies to Supervisor.
- Safely load and unload raw and finished materials using overhead cranes and other handling equipment.
- Complete daily equipment checks, routine maintenance, and keeping accurate records of machine performance and maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area in alignment with company housekeeping standards.
- Identify and communicate material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and production bottlenecks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, productive team environment.
- Encourage safe work practices in others, identify training gaps, and actively participate in Health & Safety Program (HSP) initiatives.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
**Must Have**:
- Crane ticket and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with CNC and fabrication equipment (plasma, bandsaw, pipe bender, etc.).
- Familiarity with steel fabrication, blueprints, and precision measuring tools.
- Basic CNC programming knowledge.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work 5 days a week.
**Schedule**:
- Night Shift (Monday to Thursday 5:00pm to 4:30am)
Pay: $18.70-$25.50 per hour
