Guelph, Canada Barber Collins Security services Ltd. Full time

**Shifts 5:00am to 5:00pm ( 12 hrs ) 84 hrs per week includes weekends**

**Responsibilities**:

- Sign in Trucks and contractors
- Complete trucking paperwork
- install government seals
- Take pictures of loads, paperwork etc
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences. As well as complete the corresponding spreadsheets and daily trackers.
- Regularly conducted interior and exterior foot patrols.
- Watch alarm systems and/or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

**Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $21.00 per hour
