**Purpose**:
The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (LA&PS) is the largest Faculty at York University with over 24,000 undergraduate and graduate students, and almost 100 programs delivered through 25 Departments, Schools and Colleges, plus the IBM Markham Learning Site. Through innovative course design, diverse experiential education and learning opportunities, and a supportive community environment, our students receive the education they need to create big ideas that have an impact on the world.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Undergraduate Program Administrator (UPA) is responsible for supporting the undergraduate program, is the primary staff contact for undergraduate program inquiries including policies, procedures and regulations of the University, Faculty and academic unit, and providing administrative support to the Undergraduate Program Director and/or Program Coordinators. The UPA provides continuity, historical perspective and transitional support to UPDs and/or Program Coordinators during their term appointments. The Undergraduate Program Assistant supports the vision, mission, values, and strategic direction of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and York University and contributes to a positive, diverse student-focused team environment that fosters high performance, respect, trust, inclusivity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

**Education**:
College Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent (e.g. one year of related University courses).

**Experience**:
Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience in an academic School/Department, including supporting academic and administrative processes and activities, providing degree and certificate information to students, and customer service.
