Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating interventions for pediatric populations with the following modalities and areas of need:

- Handwriting and Typing Supports (e.g. Handwriting without Tears)
- Low muscle tone
- Coordination and strength exercises
- Self-regulation and Sensory Processing Challenges (Zones of Regulation, ALERT program)
- Life Skills and Self-care skills
- Strong interest in working with First Nations children
- Ability to work with clients living in remote areas using virtual care technology.
- Available for possible onsite visits to First Nations Communities.
- Flexible to work from home (to discuss further)

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of OTA/PTA program or equivalent
- Skilled in delivering individual and group intervention plans
- Able to adapt sessions and activities to the needs of clients, including clients of different cultural backgrounds
- Able to work well as part of an interdisciplinary team including Speech-Language Pathologists, Communicative Disorders Assistants, Psychologists, Nurses, Rehabilitation Therapy Assistants.
- Possess the flexibility and time-management skills necessary to manage an ever-changing caseload needs
- Able to creatively problem-solve to provide service catered to individual clients and settings (e.g. online)
- Comfortable with technology, including telepractice/video conferencing technology
- Strong computer skills, especially in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams and digital documentation programs
- Able to travel to Northern First Nations Communities, if needed
- Successful Criminal Record Check
