**The Position**

**Décor Operations **is the hands on, on-site team member representing us as a leader in the setup, execution and disassembly of special events. You are able to troubleshoot last minute changes and respond accordingly. You are organised, and understand the most efficient flow of event setup and processing of equipment. You are able to think ahead when planning for the transport and assembly of decor items, as well as the disassembly and packing up of equipment. You have attention to detail and a high standard when reviewing setups, checking on/polishing glassware, setting/draping linens and tableware presentation as well as overall flow of the event space. You have an eye for consistency and will ensure the items supplied by Glow for these events are displayed perfectly. The applicant must be flexible to work on a variety of unique projects, both indoor and outdoor at varying times of the day and night and have a positive and professional attitude.

**Job Duties**
- You are tasked with pulling equipment in the warehouse for upcoming events
- You will organise casual staff on site to complete specific assigned duties
- You will ensure drapery, attractive table settings, consistency and decor placement are as ordered
- installing Halloween decor for the Halloween Temp Stores
- working on ladders with basic instillation tools
- Arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other decor items on site
- Installing holiday setups and arrangements for events, malls, and Glow Gardens events
- Be a part of the early morning set up and/or late-night removal and processing of equipment
- Processing equipment after events, including the cleaning, packing and evaluation of equipment quality and damages

**Your Qualifications**
- You have special events and wedding experience and familiarity with all associated event equipment
- You are able to build or maintain relationships with clients on site with professionalism
- Must physically active and able to lift at least 40 pounds
- You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends, early morning and late nights
- You have a clean driver abstract and are able to drive
- Experience with driving cube vans considered an asset
- Post secondary education or courses in decor considered an asset
- Able to work varying lengths of shifts, and work on your feet for most of the day
