**Pharmacy Assistant**

Kawartha Lakes Pharmasave - Lindsay, ON

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
- Data entry of patient care information into Kroll software,
- Third Party adjudication (if necessary),
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
- Handling customer prescription pick up,
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is essential;
- Knowledge of Kroll Pharmacy Software is preferred;
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
- Strong communication skills;
- Demonstrated customer service experience;
- Strong motivation to succeed;
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills.

WORK HOURS:
Full-time (32 to 40 hours), flexible hours, includes one to two nights a week (12pm to 8pm) and minimum one Saturday a month (9am to 3pm).

**Salary**: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
