**About us** Central Botanical Growers o/a Floral Acres Greenhouses and Garden Centre is a dynamic grower and retailer of horticultural products with a rich family history. We have Retail, Wholesale, and E-commerce operations located on Saskatoon's beautiful Valley Road. We grow the overwhelming majority of our products in-house with over 220,00 square feet of greenhouse space we use to plant over 4 million plants per year Our growing retail Garden Centre has departments in annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, trees and shrubs, tropical plants, gardening supplies, garden furniture, and landscaping supplies. Within the garden centre is "Priscilla's" Boutique; featuring specialty furniture, home décor, jewelry and unique gift-ware. We have opportunities for positive, hard-working, energetic and reliable people just like you We're looking for talented associates who are passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers and delighting them every step of the way **Duties & Responsibilities** - Quaility Customer Service essential. - Have flexibility in work hours and job duties. - Cash handling experience an asset - Plant, Tropical, Tree/Shrub knowledge an asset - Order picking and e-commerce experience is an asset. - Keeps up to date with in-store promotions, in-store programs and product locations. - Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met. - Work with other team members across departments to create and maintain inspirational, eye-catching displays and end caps designed to inspire our guests with creative ideas for their indoor/home and outdoor/garden spaces. - This role also involves garden centre maintenance (annuals, perennials, evergreens, trees, tropical plants, water plants), stocking shelves, merchandising, customer carry-outs and general housekeeping. - Applicant must have the ability to be physically active and or standing for a full work day and to be able to tolerate the extreme heat and temperature fluctualtions in a greenhouse enviroment - Applicants must be able to function in a fast paced enviroment - Applicants must have thier own transportation to and from work **Job Type**: Seasonal Contract length: 2-6 months Pay: From $15.50 per hour Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Every Weekend - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Morning shift **Experience**: - Plant/Tropical/Cash: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2025-02-17 Expected start date: 2025-04-07
