**About Us**
- The Quality Inspector is responsible for the performance of all quality functions and duties as related to the Fabrication activities at Aecon's Fabrication shop in Cambridge, ON.
- The position reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.

**What You'll Do Here**
- Participate in the execution of the fabrication travelers
- Perform quality inspection in accordance with the Aecon’s quality program, the related codes, standards, and customer specifications. Such inspections shall include but not be limited to:

- Dimensional inspection.
- Visual welding inspection.
- Visual weld examination.
- Material verification.
- Receiving Inspection.
- Review of Material Test Reports as required
- Perform weld monitoring as required
- Complete all associated documentation and forms for individual inspections
- Writing and tracking of non-conformance reports
- Support QC activities associated with the project requirements

**What You Bring To The Team**
- Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level
- CWB W178.2 Level 2 Certified Welding Inspector required
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector qualification preferred
- Knowledgeable in ASME B&PV Code, (including Nuclear), CWB experience, ANSI N690, and AWS D1.1.
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Previous experience in inspections and controls within a Nuclear Quality Program would be considered an asset
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Able to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization with view to implementing quality requirements and objectives
