**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate a bus according to established routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers by following traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, especially those with special needs or disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and schedules.
- Document any incidents or issues that occur during transit.
- Perform routine inspections and basic mechanical checks on the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly desirable.
- Prior experience working with children or in senior care settings is preferred.
- Ability to write clear reports regarding incidents or maintenance needs.
- A commitment to safety and a passion for serving the community.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.91 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

**Experience**:

- driving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
