Sherbrook Animal Hospital is a privately owned, new renovated clinic located in central Winnipeg, open Monday through Saturday and closed Sunday's and all statutory holidays. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch veterinary care.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. As an RVT at Sherbrook Animal Hospital you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care to our diverse patient base. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of animal health and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures, including diagnostics, surgeries, and treatments.

Perform routine and emergency medical procedures such as blood draws, injections, and catheter placements.

Conduct and analyze laboratory tests, including urinalysis, hematology, and parasitology.

Monitor and manage anesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Educate pet owners on proper care, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.

Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.

Provide compassionate care and support to both patients and their families.

Qualifications:
Registered with MVTA

Strong clinical skills and experience in a veterinary setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Proficient in using veterinary medical equipment and software.

A passion for animal care and a commitment to professional development.
