**THE POSITION**

The Concessions Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all concession stand products including following menus, abiding by policies and procedures related to food management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Follow planned menus and approved recipes;
- Prepare products maintaining standards of quality, proportioning, and presentation;
- Control and minimize food waste;
- Report low quality product and spoilage to supervisor;
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly;
- Report potential safety hazards;
- Perform cleaning duties as directed;
- Follow food safe guidelines while preparing and cooking food products;
- Assist with training of new staff during shift;
- All other duties as assigned.

**THE INDIVIDUAL**
- Experience in a similar role or environment is required;
- Possesses strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to take initiative;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with evening and weekend shifts.

**Certifications**
- Food Safe Certified is mandatory.
- High school diploma is considered an asset.

Shifts are event driven and consist of mainly evenings and weekends. Flexible availability is required.
