McGinty House is a transitional housing program that supports 10 co-ed tenants. Staff members support clients to reach personal goals and to have a satisfying and meaningful life in the community.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission values rooted through Hospitality of availability, responsibility, adaptability, quality and dignity
- Be aware of and sensitive to the issues related to poverty, homelessness, mental illness, addictions and developmental disabilities
- Enhance the dignity and quality of life of our clients through the assumed responsibility for cleaning services
- Cleaning McGinty House, inclusive of tenant rooms
- Maintaining adequate supplies related to cleaning
- HOURS: This is a part-time position. 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday and preferably in the afternoon/ evening, 1pm-5pm or 4pm-8pm

**Qualifications**
- One year cleaning experience in a residential facility (preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity
- Experience working with the homeless would be an asset
- Certification in CPR or a willingness to be certified is also required
- Committed to anti-racist/anti-oppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd Centres
- Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset
