**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Doctor to join our team as a crucial member at our Chilliwack laboratory. As a Medical Doctor specializing in donor screening and management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our FMT drug products. Your primary responsibilities will include screening new donors and managing existing donors to uphold the highest standards of donor selection and testing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough medical evaluations (including a detailed physical exam) of potential donors to assess their eligibility for participation in the FMT donor program.
- Complete rigorous screening protocols (request blood/stool testing) to identify suitable donors based on health criteria and medical history.
- Collaborate with our team to interpret medical data and make informed decisions regarding donor selection.
- Oversee and manage the health and participation of existing donors, conducting regular medical check-ups and health assessments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive donor records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of donor screening and testing protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of microbiome research and donor screening techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical Doctor degree from an accredited medical school (will consider Nurse Practitioner).
- Experience in clinical medicine, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain meticulous records.
- A passion for advancing the field of microbiome research and improving patient outcomes.
