**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to client specifications and breed standards
- Assess each dogs health and behavior to ensure safe grooming practices
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area, including sterilizing tools and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with dog owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Handle dogs gently and securely during grooming procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to accommodate client requests
- Monitor dogs for signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions and report concerns to management or dog owners
- Keep detailed records of grooming services provided for each dog

**Experience**
- Prior experience in dog grooming is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier dogs safely and comfortably
- Passion for animals with a caring attitude towards dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift heavy objects as needed
