Lacombe, Canada Lacombe Storage and Storage Group Alberta Full time

Responsibilities:

- Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the business
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Rental of storage units
- Perform cashiering duties, including handling debit and credit card transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Monitor customers/tenants for lease and site compliance
- Merchandising and merchandise sales
- Perform site and lock audits.
- Light cleaning
- Grass roots marketing to promote the company in the community and online
- Perform daily and monthly accounting tasks using Customer Point of Sale software including contacting delinquent accounts.
- Accurate bank deposits
- Assist in training and development of new employees
- Manage and motivate a team of employees to achieve business goals
- Assist in budgeting and financial management
- Monitor market trends and make recommendations to improve sales and profitability

Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven experience in cashiering and sales
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong training and development skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team of employees
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and ability to work within budget constraints
- Must be able to work independently for 8 hours.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
- Must be able and willing to occasionally travel overnight to work at other locations.
- Must live within 10 minutes’ drive of our Lacombe location.
- Computer skills are a must as there are several programs and other electronic devices used in this work environment.
- Must be able to walk the yard and lift and or move up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and or sit for 8 hours per day.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Lacombe, AB T4L 2J7 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Lacombe, AB T4L 2J7: Relocate before starting work (required)
