Greater Sudbury, Canada Nordic Bearings Full time

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Nordic Bearings team to assist us in our general warehouse operations and activities as well as shipping and receiving orders. This position is responsible for sending, accepting and recording the movement of parts and supplies, as well as storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Overseeing loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
- Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Maintain internal record-keeping systems
- Know safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and materials
- Documenting inbound and outbound shipments
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the warehouse division

**Requirements**:

- Ability to lift, push and slide heavy objects
- General computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently within a structured environment
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Warehouse experience is an asset

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
