Calgary, Canada Sundance Lake Residents Association Ltd. Full time

Lake Sundance is a lake and park with year-round outdoor and indoor community activities and events. Sundance Lake is maintained and operated for the homeowners Association. Access is restricted to members and their registered guests. The Lake has between 13-20 employees on staff and is located in South East Calgary.

This is a full-time year-round position.

Training on opening shifts and attendance to park safety meetings will be required for onboarding outside of this schedule.

**The Operations department at Sundance Lake has four team members in the winter and up to six in the summer. Responsibilities of this role are for year round care and maintenance of the park. This includes grounds maintenance, custodial duties for the buildings, and break coverage for the office.**

A valid class five drivers license in good standing and a Police Information Clearance are required for all positions.

Operations occur on and over a large body of water and the ability to swim is necessary.

This is a physically demanding role and requires the ability to lift up to (25kg)

The operations department uses a John Deere fleet of machines and grounds keeping equipment (backpack blowers, whippers, and push mowers) for fall clean up, turf maintenance and snow removal.

In the winter maintenance of skating surfaces on the lake and upper rinks are completed with compact tractors and a Zamboni ice-resurfacing machine.

Custodial duties include removal of garbage, cleaning barbeque ashes, cleaning of washrooms and the common area in the buildings.

Closing duties include securing of the park, buildings and equipment at the end of the day

Full time benefits include a health plan, workwear benefit and access to the park for you and two guests when not on duty.

Opportunity for advancement to supervisor and managerial roles.

Valid First aid, WHIMIS, Boat operator license, elevated platform lift certificates would be considered an asset.

Pay: $21.20-$22.64 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
